A new layout and with several new features for 2017, The Big Nibble features a sensational mix of artisan produce, impeccably sourced street food, craft beers, wines and spirits alongside a wide range of local art, craft and collectibles. Visitors can embark on a ‘Food Safari’ around the Carfax and Horsham Town Centre with zones specially created for The Big Nibble:
Fresh from the Farm

Horsham Beer Trail – Across Horsham – 11am to 5pm
On both days of the Big Nibble you will be able to start your tasting journey from the Hepworth’s Beer Tent in the Carfax, pick up your passport and taster glass and discover Horsham District’s finest beer and cider producers!
Entry is just £2 and if you complete the trail you can hand in your passport at the Black Jug to be entered into a prize draw to win a fantastic meal.

The Live Food Show – Carfax – 10am to 3.30pm
The live cookery theatre will see a demonstration kitchen arriving in Horsham to take pride of place in the Carfax, opposite Panino Cafe in the Town Centre.
The high spec kitchen will be used on the big day by a number of chefs from local businesses, plus traders from Horsham’s weekly local produce market, that will collectively form a live programme of entertainment so chefs and others can showcase their culinary skills, demonstrate and impart their knowledge.
The programme is professionally compered by foodie Hilary Knight, founder of Sussex Food and Drink Network. Hilary works with chefs and food and drink producers from across Sussex and will be engaging with the public and interacting with demonstrators on the day, teasing out their top tips.
Whilst visitors will witness cooking at its very best, there will certainly be opportunities for free tasters.
The Gin Veranda – Carfax – 4pm – 5pm
Between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday 2 September the Live Cookery Theatre will morph into the new Gin on the Veranda. This will feature a ‘Talk and Taste’ from local distillers participating in the Food & Drink Safari market.
Followed by a Gin focused ‘happy hour’ and Gin tour co-ordinated by Piries Bar.
The Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival – The Forum – 10am to 4pm
Making food fun for children. Let your child’s inner foodie free for them to discover, learn and enjoy food from farming to getting creative with food. Let them experience food in a way they have never before. Sponsored by Leaders

This global project is an opportunity to encourage a child’s creativity, whilst promoting a greater understanding of the values that inspire a compassionate heart. International Food Festival – East Street – 11am to 4pm
Come and enjoy the magnificent International Food festival on Saturday & Sunday starting from 11am co-ordinated by Horsham’s unique Japanese Restaurant and Bar, Wabi in East Street. You will be able to enjoy international food delights from the great variety of restaurants in East Street and Market Square
Decorated stalls outside will educate passers-by on what makes them unique, offer tasters and demonstrate their skills, such as cocktail flaring and vegetable carving.
